"SHE IS SPOT ON!"

Energy Healing

The spiritual healer is also a wounded healer. In other words, by healing themselves, they help heal others.  Having spent almost a decade healing my own inner child wounds, (and we ALL have them & they play out in our adult lives) as well as healing my own physical ailments of chronic pain, I have mastered how to channel Divine healing energy to help people begin to heal themselves.  All healing is self-healing ~ I am simply the conduit!

There are many types of healing energy work: Healing Touch, Reiki, Acupuncture, Reflexology, Hypnosis, to name a few.  As is true with my other gifts, I do not subscribe to a specific method. I consider myself an intuitive healer, meaning I am led to practice healing work using my intuition/Divine guidance & wisdom just as my grandmother did.  I see & sense ailments or irritations in one’s physical & emotional body through variations in temperature I sense in my hands & visions I receive in my mind’s eye.  I also have the ability to connect to & understand where these ailments, pains, excess energies stem from, which are deeply-rooted stuck emotions manifested in the physical body.

Our mind/thoughts, life experiences, nervous system & gut are all inter-twined. We all carry within us inner wounds from trauma (conscious or unconscious), whether that be divorce, our childhood upbringing, school experiences such as teasing or bullying, break-ups & other heartbreaks to name a few. We carry variations of feelings of abandonment, neglect, rejection, grief, unworthiness, lack of self-esteem, feeling unlovable, unvalued, or invalidated.  The word “Trauma” itself can be so misleading because people often think it has to be this huge life event, when in fact, it is often the littlest thing that someone may have said or done unintentionally that somehow harmed us and it is now playing out in our adulthood in various ways.

What to Expect:

While laying covered on a massage table, (or seated comfortably in a chair if we are doing it remotely via telephone, FaceTime, zoom or Skype), I lead you through a guided, grounding, relaxing mediation.

Some of the common “techniques” I use are:

Scanning the Field

Scanning is an energy healing technique that involves passing the hands over the energy field, a few inches to a few feet away from the physical body, to pick up information and assess the field.

With open palms turned toward the client's body, I move my hands along the front of the body, starting about 4-5 inches away.  I may experience sensations of heat or coolness, vibrations, pushing or pulling, or goose bumps (aka God bumps). I may get intuitive information, or you just feel drawn to particular chakras or areas of the body.

Still Hands

One of the most basic of all energy healing techniques is to use the still placement of the hands to clear and modulate imbalanced, "stuck," or disharmonious energy.

With my hands on the physical body or in the field, I simply hold my hands still or move them very slightly over an area where the energy feels disturbed. The intention here is to return the energy to balance, flow, and coherence. At some point, the energy will feel smooth or harmonious again, or I will get the sense that it's time to move on.

If it does not resolve in a reasonable length of time, it may be that the disharmony is a necessary part of a larger process of healing. In that case, I release it to a higher wisdom and move on.

This is a very natural process. For example, everyone has hurt themselves and automatically placed their hand on or held the hurt place. That's an instinctive form of modulation.

Sweeping or Smoothing Hands

This basic energy healing technique uses the hands in motion to smooth and clear the field when it feels disturbed, ruffled, buzzy, rough, blocked, in turmoil, or otherwise disharmonious and imbalanced. It helps return the energy to its natural state of movement, flow, and harmony.

To do this, I simply move my open palms repeatedly in a sweeping, smoothing motion through the field, approximately 6 inches to several feet above the body.

A sequence that often works well is to sweep the whole field for a while, then to turn attention to particular places that seem to need extra support (such as an area of pain or injury or a place where the energy feels disturbed), and then to end by sweeping the entire field again for a while. I can often feel the energy smooth out as I work with it.

Energy Pump or Pain Drain

When excess energy has collected in an area of the body or field, the hands can be used to "pump" or "drain" the energy off, helping to rebalance the area. This energy healing method can be particularly useful for headaches, wounds, and other types of pain.

Placing my left hand on or above the area of pain or excess energy, I then hold out my right arm away from you, pointed toward the ground. The intention is to pull the excess energy into my left hand and send it out into the earth through my right hand.  I can feel the flow of energy & when it begins to slow down, the client's pain has diminished significantly.

Magnetizing

An energy healing technique to pull unwanted energy out of the field (e.g. the energy of another person, of a drug, of an illness, of a traumatic experience, etc.), is to use your hands like magnets.

With your hands in the field above the area that seems to need this treatment, I set the intention to pull the unwanted energy out of the body and/or the field. I visualize or feel it being pulled out the client's body/field and "sticking" to my hands, where I then dispose of it toward the earth to get rid of the energy.

People may feel a difference immediately that same day, within a few days or within a few weeks.  Many have reported a complete disappearance & healing of their symptoms or a significant reduction. One 30 or 60 minute session is typically enough, but for longer, more chronic issues that are deeply-rooted, multiple visits may be warranted, as well as considering adding additional services (such as coaching, inner-child or regression work) depending on what we discover.
